Privacy and cookie policy

1. Data controller

No data protection officer has been appointed, as Art. 37 GDPR does not require one. Write to the address above about anything concerning your data.

2. Purposes and legal bases

• Replying to your enquiry (e-mail, phone, WhatsApp, a message from the price calculator) and steps before a contract: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for ordinary correspondence Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest: handling correspondence).
• Performing a contract: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Accounting and tax obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
• Establishing or defending claims: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

The price calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing from it reaches the server: “Send my estimate” opens your own e-mail program with a ready message, which you send yourself.

3. Data processed

I process the data you give me in correspondence: your name, e-mail address, phone number, company name and invoicing details, and the content of your message. With your consent to statistics, Google Analytics collects data about your device and browser, the pages you visit, your approximate location and a cookie identifier.

4. Recipients

• Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland: Google Analytics 4, only after consent.
• WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Ireland: WhatsApp messaging, only if you message me there.
• My accounting office: for accounting documents.

I do not sell data or share it with anyone for marketing.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

The site loads no external fonts or scripts. The only exception is Google Analytics 4, and only with your consent. GA4 data may also be processed by Google LLC in the USA. The transfer relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework), with standard contractual clauses as a fallback.

The WhatsApp button is a plain link: the site loads nothing from WhatsApp. If you message me on WhatsApp, the message is processed by WhatsApp (part of Meta), also outside the EEA, under its own privacy policy. To avoid that, e-mail or call me instead.

6. Retention

• correspondence that did not lead to a contract: up to 12 months from the last contact,
• contract data: for the duration of the contract and the limitation period for claims,
• accounting documents: 5 years from the end of the tax year,
• Google Analytics 4 data: 14 months, after which Google deletes it.

7. Cookies and analytics

The Google script loads only after you click “Accept” in the banner. Before you decide, and after “Reject”, the site sends no request to Google at all.

You can withdraw consent at any time: the “Cookie settings” link in the home page footer reopens the banner, and “Reject” switches analytics off. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

9. Links to other sites

The work section links to my clients’ websites. Once you are there, their privacy policies apply and the site owner is the data controller.

10. Voluntary data and changes

Giving your data is voluntary, but without it I cannot answer your enquiry or enter into a contract. I announce changes to this policy by publishing a new version with its update date.
